New to the neighborhood, I have been here 2x and both times the food was fantastic. Flavorful, large portions and fresh. I had beef and broccoli with pork fried rice, the beef was tender and tasty. The 2nd time I had chicken with cashew nuts. Have yet to have a bad meal. Glad this place is in walking distance.

New Wok's has become my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. You order at the counter or call ahead. There are tables inside, but the takeout action is where it's at. They also deliver and, yes, you can get the lunch specials to-go. The lunch specials are almost too good to be true. Available every day of the week from 11 AM to 3:30 PM, there are over 60 entree options, all under $7, with most around $6.50, each served with pork fried rice (+$0.25 for brown rice or +$1 for lo mein) and choice of either soup, soda, or egg roll. (While I wasn't a fan of the brown rice, the lo mein is worth the upcharge.) There are a variety of vegetarian options, though I mostly stick to the chicken dishes. General Tso's chicken and the sesame chicken are delicious, and the hot & spicy chicken also does the trick. There are also extensive choices for pork, beef, and seafood. This place gets points for their extensive menu options, ease of ordering, fast service, affordability, and offering the lunch specials 4.5 hours a day, 7 days a week. Solid.
